HNN Communities Announces Wes Daniel as President

HNN Communities, the property management affiliate of DevCo Residential Group, announces the appointment of Wes Daniel as President. In this role, Wes will lead the operational performance and organizational development of HNN Communities as the company continues to grow its portfolio of communities across Washington State.

Wes brings more than 30 years of multifamily property management experience, having begun his career as an Assistant Manager and advancing through every level of operations and leadership. His hands-on operational background and extensive leadership experience position him well to guide HNN Communities through its next phase of growth.

Prior to joining HNN Communities, Wes served as Executive Vice President of Affordable Housing for CONAM Management Corporation, where he held operational responsibility for nearly 30,000 apartment homes during his more than 12-year tenure. During that time, he helped expand the company’s affordable housing portfolio and footprint while building and leading a high-performing team of property management professionals. Wes has also held senior leadership roles at US Residential Group, Simpson Property Group, and SARES-Regis Group.

In addition to his operational leadership experience, Wes is a recognized voice in the affordable housing industry. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences including the Costello Compliance Summit, the Raymond James Asset Management Conference, and the NCP Conference. He also serves on the HCCP Board of Governors of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is a past Board chair.

When asked about his decision to join HNN, Wes responded, “Housing isn’t a product category — it’s the foundation everything else in a person’s life is built upon. Devco and HNN Communities are doing work that genuinely matters, and I don’t take lightly the responsibility that comes with leading it. My focus will be on continuing to build an organization that performs at the highest level — for our residents, our teams, and our partners — because the people we serve deserve nothing less.”

HNN Communities currently oversees a portfolio of approximately 36 communities and 9,000 apartment homes throughout the Pacific Northwest, making it one of the largest providers of income-restricted housing in the state.
