As President of HNN Communities, Wes leads the operational performance and organizational development of the company’s growing affordable housing portfolio. He brings more than 30 years of multifamily property management experience, having begun his career as an Assistant Manager and advanced through every level of operations and leadership. Prior to joining HNN, Wes served as Executive Vice President of Affordable Housing for CONAM Management Corporation, where he held operational responsibility for nearly 30,000 homes over a 12+ year tenure, growing the affordable housing footprint and building a high-performing team of professionals. He has also held senior leadership roles at US Residential Group, Simpson Property Group, and SARES-Regis Group.
Wes is a regularly featured speaker at affordable housing conferences, including the Costello Compliance Summit, the Raymond James Asset Management Conference, and the NCP Conference. He also serves on the HCCP Board of Governors of the NAHB.
Wes is passionate about community service and volunteerism, having served on the founding boards of multiple nonprofits, including Street Bundles Inc., Grandma LuLu’s Table, Snacks in Sacks of Louisville, and YIGBY San Diego. Outside of work, Wes and his husband, Elie, enjoy travel, their chihuahuas, bowling (badly), Broadway shows, and live concerts.
