Michael has over thirty years of experience in architecture, construction, and real estate development, including designing, developing, and constructing over 12,000 multifamily market-rate and affordable units across the country. He has experience working on multi-million-dollar projects worldwide and completed billions of dollars of development in his +30-year career. Michael’s exceptional leadership and design performance led to multiple national and international awards. His work has been published in the top architectural and development periodicals.
Before joining Devco Residential, Michael enjoyed serving in leadership positions with companies such as NBBJ, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Moody Nolan. Most recently, Michael served as Director of Development for Vie Development, focusing on developing market-rate and student housing nationwide. Michael has also served as CEO for non-profit 501c3 and for-profit development companies focusing on affordable and market-rate housing in the Midwest.
Michael graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Capital University with a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate. He is also a licensed realtor and general contractor in Florida.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his family of five, traveling and enjoying the beach life on the South Florida coast.
