Kaitlyn Jackson is a seasoned attorney with over eight years of experience in real estate litigation, contract negotiation, and corporate law. Before elevating to the role of VP of Litigation and Risk Management, she was the Director of Legal Services at DevCo. In her current role, she leads the company’s legal litigation strategies with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk management, and innovative legal solutions that support sustainable business growth.
Kaitlyn is licensed to practice in Washington State, the U.S. Federal Court (Western District of Washington), and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. She is also a certified real estate instructor through the Washington State Department of Licensing. Her career has been marked by a deep specialization in residential landlord-tenant law, an area in which she has provided extensive counsel and has regularly taught at statewide continuing legal education (CLE) programs.
Prior to joining DevCo, Kaitlyn held key roles at respected law firms including Williams Kastner & Gibbs, PLLC, and Dimension Law Group, PLLC. She has advised clients ranging from property management companies to corporate partners, and has been actively involved in legislative advocacy efforts through the Rental Housing Association of Washington, where she also serves on the Board of Regents.
A frequent speaker, Kaitlyn has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2021 through 2025, and was named Volunteer of the Year by RHAWA in 2021. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law and dual B.A. degrees in Humanities and Criminal Justice from Seattle University.
