David has over 3 years of Section 42 underwriting experience. Prior to joining the team at DevCo, David worked for National CORE, a non-profit community builder specializing in affordable, multifamily, mixed-income, senior, workforce, and special needs housing. David’s work included valuing over $2.5 billion worth of Section 42 assets, sourcing acquisition assets, performing research into new markets, and spear-heading various ad-hoc projects. As a Development Analyst, David underwrites new construction and acquisition/rehab deals, oversees the tax credit application process, performs research into new markets, manages the 8609/cost cert process and assists with various other development team projects. Additionally, he assists the Southwest Development Project Manager and Senior Development associate on transaction closings and other tasks related to the acquisition, development, and redevelopment of projects.

 

David has received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University of Fullerton, with a joint concentration in Finance and Accounting. In his free time, David enjoys snowboarding, traveling, weightlifting, sauna & cold plunge as well as spending time with friends and family.
